Seneca Rocks is still happening, let's hope for good water levels and warm temps.. I am still planning on going up Thursday evening or early Friday morning and setting up camp at Yokum's (Priincess Snowbird) campground across from the rocks. I will be boating Friday afternoon,Saturday and Sunday. Lots of options iif good water,if not we have used Cheat narrows or North Branch as a backup. Campfires, beer and friends as always. Join us for the fun.

Click here for a map to Yokum's and Seneca Rocks. There also is a bit more info on Jim's plans on the WVWA Calendar.

Richa and I would like to go. Do we call make camping reservations or did someone book few sites? Also is it kayaks only or will infaltable rafts go as well?

I just pick a spot out in the campground, go across the street and pay in the store/eatery- they just ask how many nights you are staying and charge you accordingly. Generally, these rivers are not rafted- well occasionally they are by fishermen, so I generally think ducky, sit on top, or kayak.

We're leaving Thursday morning, if not, Thursday afternoon. NOT Thursday night. Looking for a spot next to Seneca Creek.

Guys, right now it looks like we will run a section of the Crusier course on the North Fork & Hopewell Canyon on Friday. Than Saturday we will likely do the Noth Branch release. Water is dropping fast hope for a few showers.
