Is there a place to go to see what I need for this trip? Obviously I need food but it looks as if I need a tent and a sleeping bag too. Do I need a dry bag? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike

Ya Mike i will put something together soon as fare as directions to Chuck an Nancy's place ...everything you mentioned..we will camp in there back yard and go over the verbal part of the course in there driveway / garage..head to the river after lunch to work on what we talked about. don't forget fluids! We will be going out to eat as a group Saturday night...most likely a Mexican place not too far away. What ever it is you do when you go camping for the weekend...dry bag cant heart even if you do not use it..they have a nice fire pit out back if they still allow a fire after last year...lol..looking forward to this...

I hope Chuck has more downed trees for us! The neighbors may have been nervous if they weren't too busy lighting fireworks.

Anyone signed up for the intermediate clinic should view and study the Whitewater Troubleshooter series of videos in the post that Matt Thompson put on the forum: wvwaforum.proboards.com/post/12081/threadAll six episodes are well done and worth viewing. However, you should focus on episodes 2 (outfitting), 3 (strokes) and 4 (momentum). The information in these will be stressed in the clinic.

Students, Instructors and Helpers,
You should already have directions to my house (the base for the clinic) and information about camping in our yard on Friday and/or Saturday nights.
Please let me know if you will be arriving Friday evening.
Also let me know if you have any questions.
Chuck

Charlie should have sent everyone an email about the clinic. I did not get the email so I don't know what was in it. In the past, we have started the clinic at 9:00 am.

I appoligize about the lack of internet communications from my end...My pc at home is challenged ...I did send an email out with directions but did leave out the start time... I did however put my name and number out there if anyone had unanswered questions. Yes we will be starting at 9:00 am Saturday and Sunday ...Hi gang The Brabecs have offered there yard for camping over the weekend...you do not have to stay there its just very convent and they have a wonderful (Private) yard. We will be lecturing (talking) from 9am to noonish and then head to the river after lunch...bring anything you need food wise to keep yourself comfortable on and off the water..the time on the water will tax you...feel free to contact me with any concerns... Looking forward to the weekend and want to say thanks for being a part of the clinic. charlie redington 304 539 0497
I too will be there Friday evening along with Marshall Klay
..lets go boating!

It looks like it will be cooler than I exspected this weekend but not snowing, thats a good thing.Possibly rain thru the weekend also..bring extra warm stuff. Being comfortable is one of the rules to learning...you do not learn much if you are struggling to stay warm....water water water once again..I am just trying to post any suggestion that may come to mind that I think may make a defference and welcome any other imput to make this a fun filled day.... Thanks again to everyone involved
.lets go boating!

If it's too soggy for camping, we will accommodate as many as possible in our house - in the spare bedrooms, on the floors, on the porch, etc. Those who snore will be offered space in the basement.
Chuck & Nancy
PS. No campfires allowed except in the fire pit in the back yard.
